Hello Fellow Classmates,

First of all, I wish to thank the reunion committee for all of their hard work.  We have literally been working on this for many years.  As you may know, we had the 45th reunion all planned when Covid cancelled it.  We thought about having it the next year and things were still shut down so we decided to just start working on our 50th reunion and make it spectacular. We had four different activities and some of you attended all of them.  I loved the service project at West High and the tour of the school.  It will be sad to see it torn down in the near future. I appreciated all of you who spread the word to others so that we could have such an amazing attendance at our Saturday evening dinner at Washington Park. The pictures say a thousand words: fun times were had by all!  Thank you!  Hope to see you all on September 12 at the Homecoming Game!  Go Panthers!

We will be filling backpacks with school supplies for students starting school in the fall. We mostly need bodies! But, if you would like, here is what is needed:

Nonperishable food items: peanut butter, jam, rice, pasta, beans, soups, cold cereals, vegetables, fruit etc.

Backpacks and school supplies: pens, pencils, spiral notebooks, composition books, etc.

New coats, hoodies, socks, gloves in teen sizes only please

Cash/check/credit card donations are always helpful to purchase items for the pantry/clothing closet of items families need that the pantry does not carry.
